It was cold in there. But it was good.

Delicious food and the staff was very friendly. Definitely get the emperor's chicken! The prices were very reasonable and the quality is the best in the area. I will be coming back soon.

Great customer service!! The food was amazing and I’m from California! I’m surprised i found this hidden gem in Kansas! It was great speaking to the owners and how they kept their traditional dishes as well incorporating their modern twist! Will definitely be returning when i visit Iola!

I was NOT happy at all. I ordered take out from this place and walked in to pay for my food and seen a guy getting food OFF the buffet and putting in to go boxes. I asked the girl at the register of take out was fresh, she told me yes, I said well why did I see him getting exactly what I ordered off the buffet. She told me certain things ordered is taken from the buffet. If I wanted food from the buffet I would NOT have called for take out. Take out is supposed to be freshly cooked NOT taken from the buffet and placed in to go boxes. WILL not eat from here again. I would rather travel amd use gas for fresh food.

I have been eating here for many years and will continue doing so for many more! Great food,great service. Even when they changed something in garlic chicken, it would take alot to make this place anything less then the top of my favorite restraunts which I've been to them on easy and west coasts and many in between. Keep up the great work!

To begin, everybody has a different way to make the same food and everyone eating those different foods likes the way certain places make those particular foods. That being said, I really enjoy the way they make most of their food. Some days their food is sweeter or spicier than other days. I have my favorites, including Emperor chicken and garlic chicken. Buffet is the most common thing I go for, but sometimes I like to see what the menu has to offer.

It's ok food for the area but I've had better but i moved here from Overland Park so that's not really fair. But since it's the only one in town, it works.

Throughout my journey to seek the most authentic Chinese food, I stumbled upon this mom and pop restaurant in the middle of nowhere of Kansas. At first, I was a little weary about whether this was just a pallet pleaser. To my surprise, I was very amazed with the quality of food. Do you know that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic tastes the food and it just takes him back to his childhood? That's how I felt when I tasted the beef and broccoli. And boy did I finish every grain of rice on that plate.Thank you Paul and Sharon Cheung. I landed in Iola as a confused wanderer and I left there with a fulfilled soul.

The buffet is small for the price compared to other buffets I have been to, however, the service makes up for that. The food all tasted good and was fresh, and the waiters did an excellent job making sure I was taken care of. Everyone was real friendly. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Food is amazing! Love almost everything they serve. Everything tastes good and very yummy. I always crave the food from here. Staff is friendly and work hard. Wish I could give them an extra star.

Hit and miss here. My day was a miss. I've been told there are good days. Buffet with a $1 tip=$10 so be ready. Didn't seem worth the cost. I've had better for less.

Wish I could leave a better review, only there for 6 mins and the food was completely awful! The waiters were the only good thing about it. Crab raggoon was sour, Sweet and Sour Sauce tasted like cough syrup, rice was burnt and overall the food was just bad. Would not recommend anyone too come here!!

The waiter was really amazing but sadly the food is awful. If I was just rating the service it would have been 5 stars. The food was overcooked and there wasn't even much of a selection. They don't even have crab rangoon and if it is then you have to pay extra and that's a shame.

Stopped by on a road trip and I was pleasantly surprised by the food at China Palace! Great value and good quality ingredients. Was able to chat with the owners and they were super friendly. Love supporting family run businesses. My favorite dish was the emperor’s chicken, sooooo delicious!!
